How executives should evaluate AI opportunities

Forget the demo. Ask three questions: which workflow, which decision, which owner. If any answer is fuzzy, the project will stall.

Executives are shown a lot of AI demos. Almost all of them are impressive. Almost none of them survive contact with a real operating model. The way to cut through is to stop evaluating demos and start evaluating fit.

Three questions are usually enough. Which specific workflow does this change? Which specific decision becomes faster, cheaper or more consistent? Who inside our organization owns the running system?

If those answers are crisp, the project is worth scoping. If any one of them is fuzzy, no amount of model quality will rescue the implementation. Buy clarity before you buy software.
